 Small and young with a niche of its own At arríba publishing we have so far, in spite of the Spanish name (arríba means something like ”Come on!” or ”Get going!”), published books about East Asian philosophy and Martial arts, but that's not a sacred limitation to us. We will see... The publishing house was founded in 1985, but it took until the 90's before the actual publishing commenced. We are situated in Malmö, a town in the south of Sweden, but those days - what does the geographical location mean at all? We do, though, stubbornly continue to publish our books in printed form on paper.
Unfortunately, since books are a matter of language, this web site doesn't have too much to offer the English speaking, but we do present our book titles, and links to their Swedish presentations - for those who wish to experience a quite exotic tongue, spoken only by some nine million people - and, alas, not all of them do it eloquently.

Still, the following web pages include a not at all insignificant part of their contents, nor could we resist including a whole book - from beginning to end - on the internet. It's called Murder and is a thought-book of sorts, written by Swedish author Stefan Stenudd, where he speculates about death and the meaning of life, approximately. The book can be found in both Swedish and English here. The Swedish version is also available in paper form, for those who - just like us - cherish the traditions. We plan to publish other books on our web in the future, so please do return.
